Social Hour
The Maronite Servants of Christ the Light hosted a special
coffee and social hour at the Mother of Light Convent On Sunday, June 11 for
the parishioners of Our Lady of Purgatory Maronite Church.
As part of the Centennial Celebrations of Our Lady of
Purgatory Church, founded in 1917, Divine Liturgy was celebrated at St. Mary’s
Cemetery in Dartmouth, in order to commemorate all the faithful departed of the
parish. Following Divine Liturgy, Fr. Fadi Rouhana, Administrator, and the
parishioners came to the Convent to enjoy refreshments and fellowship.
Ramsho and Supper
In the evening, we hosted our monthly Ramsho and Supper
event. A number of faithful from the Maronite Church of St. Theresa’s in
Brockton, and Chorbishop Joseph Kaddo, Pastor of St. Anthony of the Desert in
Fall River, congregated at the Convent as we prayed our Maronite evening prayer
(Ramsho), and an outdoor picnic.
